The Torres household had patched two pinhole leaks in their original galvanized steel supply lines over eighteen months before calling us about a third. Galvanized pipe corrodes from the inside out, so by the time one section fails, the rest of the system is usually close behind — patching individual leaks was only ever going to buy a little time.

We repiped the entire house in PEX, sectioning the work by floor so the family only lost water to one bathroom at a time rather than the whole house going without water for six days. Every wall and ceiling opening we made to route new lines was patched and prepped for paint before we left each day, not left open until the final walkthrough.

Water pressure at every fixture measured meaningfully more consistent after the repipe — a direct result of PEX’s smoother interior bore compared to three decades of mineral buildup inside the old galvanized pipe.
